Lee Chee Kin Taekwondo club started in Mexborough in 1993 and as continued to the present day. We have trained over 150 students to the rank of Black Belt and above, a statistic we are very proud of. The club is run by Master Roy who is the president of the B.T.A every year the club attends the British Kempo and Ju-Jistu federation annual course in Woolacombe Bay in Devon for 4 days training in a multi-style course this is all in aid of charity. We hold a Christmas part for all students of Lee Chee Kin Taekwondo club, When students complete grading they receive a trophy and a certificate for all there hard work. These are provided by Master Roy and Carol. The club has a large array of equipment Kick bags, Strike Pads, Dummy’s, Paddles, and a large amount Protective Equipment, to help students achieve there goal of becoming a Black Belt. Lee Chee Kin Taekwondo club is a member club in the British Taekwondo association. Students from the age of 5 to 60 enjoy training at the club they travel from Doncaster Sheffield and Barnsley. The club offers first class training in the traditional art of Taekwondo. The club also runs specialised courses from Masters in the B.T.A. I.e. kickboxing > Akido > Self Defence > Instructors and Referee courses all are certified. Grading is held 4 times a year for Kup and 2 times fro Black Belt. All grading are conducted by Grand Master Tony. This is the person that brought T.K.D into Britain.A number of students have gone to a working life in the armed forces master Roy’s own son is serving his country. We are proud of all students that have taken this path. But our loss is the Army’s and other Forces gain. All the club wish them well and keep up the good work they are all doing with there chosen regiment. Class times: Monday 6.30 to 8.30 and Wednesday 6.30 to 8.30 cost per lesson is £3.50 the lessons are held at St Johns C Of E Infants Junior School Sedgefield Way Mexborough, S64 0BE
